Saddlebrook Prep Tennis Program
The world’s best junior players come to Saddlebrook Preparatory and tennis academy to help achieve their goals of playing on the pro tour or receiving a Division I NCAA scholarship. Our junior tennis academy is uniquely designed to fully integrate a high-level college preparatory school with our elite and demanding tennis training schedule.
Students train with their peers, pushing them each day to raise the level of their game. They engage in ladder matches as well as practice matches so that they gain experience competing against all different levels and styles of players.
Students work with the same core group of coaches every day during each quarter. Coaches are able to track student progress and focus on improving all aspects of their game with consistency.
Students have a great opportunity to take their game to the next level but, of course, it is up to them to reach their potential. Starting with their performance profile, students must constantly set goals for themselves and focus on achieving those goals. Additional tools such as match evaluations and mental skills training help players become tougher competitors.
Match Play & Analysis
The Saddlebrook tennis academy provides student-athletes with the opportunity to compete on a daily basis with their peers. Match play among players of a similar age and ability level on a regular basis pushes them towards constant and consistent improvement. Our goal is for players to gain as much experience competing as possible, so they have the ability to perform at the highest level.
It is an important part of our mental conditioning program that coaches, and more importantly players, are able to evaluate their match performance. Match evaluation forms will be completed on a regular basis and will allow coaches and players to concretely identify strengths and weaknesses and set measurable goals towards improvement.
