Middle School

Saddlebrook Prep Middle School

Saddlebrook Preparatory School’s Middle School Program offers a challenging and empowering curriculum specifically designed to nurture the whole child. Our Middle School Program focuses on each individual student’s intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth through a student-centered environment. As our students embark on these acts of discovery and development, they are supported by a team of dedicated stakeholders including faculty, families, administration, coaches, and staff.

Discovery & Development

Inspiration and motivation are two pillars of our Middle School Program supporting studies in Reading & Language Arts, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, and Physical Education. We adopt a blended curricular approach to provide opportunities for our students to engage with each subject through multiple pedagogical styles, multi-disciplinary explorations, and real-world connections that inspire students to see learning as a dynamic process of discovery. As our students embark on these acts of discovery and development, they are supported by a team of dedicated stakeholders including faculty, families, administration, coaches, and staff. Our program also considers the students themselves as the star stakeholders in their own education and development. As such, we foster agency and ownership in our students as we motivate them to achieve the self-efficacy needed for their future high school studies and beyond.

Middle School Program

Diversity and inclusivity are two pillars of our Middle School Program supporting an international learning community that welcomes young student-athletes from around the world. Our students have a unique opportunity to make worldwide, life-long friendships while expanding their worldviews and developing their character in an inclusive and collaborative environment. Here, students begin to understand what it means to be a citizen of the world and begin embodying citizenship through Junior Service Programs like our Junior Student Council, our National Junior Honor Society, and our Junior Spartan Ambassadors. Our Junior Service Programs give our Middle School students the opportunity to work with fellow students toward mutual goals, to support our community through volunteering and outreach, and to develop skills that support them becoming leaders in their futures.
