These optional events and activities for all attendees are referenced in the inclusions of the three-night Reunion Package and are listed on the agenda and at their special additional fees. Graduation Dinner Keynote Speaker
Sal Paolantonio, the Saddlebrook Prep Graduation Dinner Keynote Speaker, is a longtime supporter of Saddlebrook and its sports endeavors. He understands the life-long value of sports in the lives of the graduates, such as the student-athletes proud to be a part of the Saddlebrook Prep tradition.
"Saddlebrook is my home away from home. My wife and three daughters have been coming to the resort for 25 years, enjoying the five-star facilities and extraordinary service. Most of all, we love the Harry Hopman tennis center, where all three of our girls learned a sport that has become part of their life and lifestyle," Sal Paolantonio, National Correspondent, ESPN.
Sal Paolantonio has been a national correspondent for ESPN since 1995, covering the NFL for SportsCenter, Sunday NFL Countdown, Monday Night Countdown, and ESPN.com. He is the host of the NFL Matchup Show on Sunday mornings on ESPN. He is also a contributor to World News Tonight and Good Morning America on ABC-TV. He has won six Emmy awards for his contributions to SportsCenter and Sunday NFL Countdown. He is a voting member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee in Canton, Ohio.
He is the author of three books: How Football Explains America (2008) ; The Paolantonio Report: the Most Overrated and Underrated Players, Coaches, Teams and Moments in NFL History; (2007) and Frank Rizzo: The Last Big Man in Big City America (1993), the all-time No. 1 bestseller in the Philadelphia region. He was a professor in the English Department at St. Josephâ€™s University from 2002 to 2009. From 1985 to 1995, he was a sportswriter and national political correspondent at the Philadelphia Inquirer.
In 1983, Paolantonio retired from the United States Navy as a full lieutenant, serving in the South Pacific. In 1981, he was awarded the United Nations Meritorious Service Medal for supervising the rescue of Vietnamese refugees in the South China Sea.
He lives in Moorestown, N.J. with his wife. They have three grown daughters.
