Ms. Caroline Strachan

Ms. Caroline Strachan

Elementary School

Miss Strachan was raised primarily in England, however her family travelled extensively, enabling her to live and attend schools in many different countries growing up. She has been to every continent except Antarctica.
Miss Strachan was a child performer in musical theatre, and she studied ballet everywhere she lived, but an injury ended that career. Therapy for her injury included swimming, so she became a lifeguard and swimming instructor. During this time she taught swimming lessons to children, and her next professional career was born.
Miss Strachan has always loved learning and has had an interest in so many subjects. Teaching elementary school has enabled me to integrate all the things she has learned, combined with her experiences of traveling and living all over the world.  She has written stories for children, written scientific papers on seismology, and learned to fly airplanes. She enjoys photography, gardening, and growing her own organic food.
