Mrs. Carson was born and raised Jacksonville, Florida. She graduated from the University of North Florida, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics (Concentration in Statistics), and a minor in Spanish. After graduating, she taught various math subjects for 10 years at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts in Jacksonville, where she had also been a student and was classically trained in various forms of dance. In 2016 she moved to the Land O’ Lakes/Wesley Chapel area, and taught at Land O’ Lakes High School for three years, prior to joining Saddlebrook Prep.
In her spare time, Mrs. Carson enjoys spending time with her family and her tuxedo cat, Morpheus. She especially enjoys watching her two sons play their favorite sports, baseball and golf. She also loves to travel, read, watch movies and sports, and of course, cook.
